My task was to design, create and render two halls for an interactive online experience.
The client Demodern did a great job in researching references for the feeling we wanted to have in these locations.
I started by looking at perfume bottles and liked the idea of incorporating the drop design of the famous Dior bottle. The first designs were too sci-fi though, so I simplified the it and added classic elements like the columns to emphasize the conservative aspect of the brand as well. With the architecture in place I designed the interior and furniture.
I used the Unreal Engine to prototype the design in 3D to make sure it will work for later production and to test out some lighting situations.
